Roupes Villas is a small complex of private villas, perfect for family holidays and quiet getaways. The nearby village of Roupes is southwest of Rethymno town.

Each of the villas is built on two levels and have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 2 double and one twin. Each villa has its own private garden and pool. There are large balconies and terraces offering 360-degree views of the stunning landscape and sea. Roupes Villas is the ideal destination for sightseers, romantic getaways and for families' holidays with young children. The villas are handicap friendly for guests with limited mobility. Wi-Fi is free of charge.

Ground floor:
On the ground floor, there is a spacious lounge, dining area and a fully-equipped open plan kitchen. The lounge area features comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD and CD player. WIFI internet is available throughout the villa. The kitchen has all the facilities you require to meet your self-catering holiday needs. Patio doors take you through to a veranda that looks out onto the garden and pool area. On this level, we have a pretty double bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and flat-screen TV and there is a beautifully tiled full-fitted bathroom with a walk-in shower. We provide a good quality sofa bed that can accommodate an extra person. Baby cots and high chairs are available on request.

First Floor:
A marble staircase leads you to the upper level of the villa. On this floor, there are two large double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, both with wardrobes and flat-screen TV’s. All beds are of superior quality and linen and towels are provided. Patio doors in each bedroom lead you out onto a balcony where you can enjoy a breathtaking sea view and panoramic views of the northern coast. There is a fully equipped luxurious bathroom with a large bathtub.

Surrounding and views:
The first floor has a very large furnished terrace to the rear of the building (25 m²) which offers spectacular views of the mountain range and the natural environment of olive groves and orchards in the surrounding area. Each villa is fitted with personalized central air conditioning and heating systems.

Outdoor area:
The garden boasts a 30 m² swimming pool with a depth of 120 - 150 cm. The spacious grounds are grassed for children to play. The grounds are secured by a traditional stone-built wall which complements the exterior design of the villa and ensures privacy.

Around the private swimming pool, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas. BBQ facilities are available and each villa comes complete with outdoor furniture, perfect for al-fresco dining.
Each villa has its own private parking area and all units have been specifically designed to accommodate guests with limited mobility.

The surrounding area
The surrounding area itself has a lot to offer. You can tour the nearby local villages and get a taste of how the Greeks live and experience Greek hospitality. There are hiking and cycling routes in the vicinity, offering you the chance to discover the Cretan countryside and enjoy the breathtaking views of the imposing mountain range of Psiloritis (Mount Idi) which stretches from the North West of the island down to the South East. This area is a paradise for anyone who loves to explore nature. Ideally situated in the centre of the island, it is easy to reach many of the beautiful beaches Crete has to offer. Only 7km from your villa is Rethymno beach. The area is also steeped in history and archaeology. Roupes is only a few kilometres from one of the ten greatest discoveries of the world in the year 2010 by the Archaeology Magazine, Ancient Eleftherna Excavations and Elefterna Museum.
