The villa is located in the beautiful hillside village of Maroulas classified as a heritage site. The village is just a few minutes by car from the town of Rethymnon, and 3km (1.8miles) from some of the most outstanding beaches in the area. A perfect villa for family and friends holiday, wedding and courses. Extra rooms can be found in the village.
The villa
The villa, built in 1426 during the Venetian” period, has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and has been officially certified by the Greek Tourism Office as luxury accommodation villa in Crete. The villa has its own heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi. WIFI internet and giant cinema screen for movies. The villa is extremely well equipped to cater for the most demanding taste.
The villa is extremely well equipped to cater for families with babies and small children, supplying plenty of toys and games to keep youngsters entertained.
The villa has five bedrooms, all with air conditioning for the summer - and central heating for the winter. You are provided with bed linen, towels and daily fully comprehensive domestic cleaning service 6 days a week.
The Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: (on the ground floor) Has an independent entrance. The room has a double bed, a computer work-space, and en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet and hair dryer.
Bedroom 2: (on the first floor) Double bed, an original fireplace and en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and a hair dryer. The room has a great view of the sea
Bedroom 3: (also on the first floor) This room has a small double bed and shares a bathroom with Bedroom 4.
Bedroom 4: (on the first floor) Has bunk beds and a double bed (quadruple). This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 3 – the bathroom has a bath, a toilet and a hair dryer.
Bedroom 5: (on the ground floor), has a double bed. Shower and toilet are along the corridor.
The courtyard and roof terrace
There is plenty of outdoor space within the grounds of the villa. You have the large courtyard with the swimming pool and the smaller ‘Jacuzzi’ courtyard.
On the first floor there is a massive roof terrace, which has sun loungers, chairs, tables, in fact all the garden furniture one could possibly want.
From the roof terrace you have a superb view of the village, the sea and the surrounding countryside.
