Katerina Villa is located just 10 km outside the city of Chania. The villa is suitable for up to 12 adults or 10 adults + 5 Children. The villa is perfect for larger groups and family get-togethers. With a large garden within olive groves. The 3.5m x 12m pool and the table tennis will keep the more energetic happily occupied, while the others can lay back relaxing in the sun or the shady atmosphere of the many nocks and crannies of outdoor spaces. The villa

The villa has a large sitting area, 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. TV and fully fitted kitchen. You can cook yourself or have a chef come and cook your meals, just order the day before!

The villa’s unique style has been designed by Varoudakis Aristomenis, a professor and renowned, award winner, architect. He has envisioned a luxury, yet easy-going country home that combines traditional elements, (thick stone walls, wooden features), with modern ones (folding glass panels, interior light wells, lookout free-standing decks at each floor) achieving a perfect balance of the exterior with the interior environment.
The sitting area at the upper deck will give you and your friends and family an opportunity to relax together, chat or play games
When the day is over you can sit by the pool in an open-air cinema, by turning the large TV or have an outdoor videogame on the big screen!

The villa is handicap friendly and can accommodate up to two wheelchair users.

The pool

The Mediterranean sun is quite hot in the summer, especially during midday. Villa Katerina offers a reed shaded roof that covers 1/4 of the pool and a sitting area. The Roll-down Screen by the pool offers additional shade when needed.

The shallow part of the 12m x 3.5 m pool is levelled at 60cm depth and an aluminium rail can be added to separate it from the rest of the pool, to protect small children. The pool can be heated in the colder months at an extra cost.

The location

Located in its own hectare of olive groves, the villa is surrounded by mellow, unspoiled countryside and offers peaceful rural views of the Aegean Sea. It has a special unique feature, the open tower decks, from where you can have your evening drinks while watching a spectacular sunset and then dine at the terrace making the most of Crete’s idyllic climate, the best there is!

Chania City

The charming town of Chania is only a short drive from the villa. Here you find some of the finest restaurants of Chania, whimsical shops and lazy cafes. The major attractions of the town are the Byzantine Museum, the Fortress of San Salvadore, and the Naval Museum. The archaeological museum and the Egyptian Light House, the town’s landmark. The closest organized beach is 500 m away and is reached by a picturesque seaside walk. Organize your path or just do yourself the favour and get lost in the colourful alleys. People meet at cafés and tavernas and the shops offer an abundance of designer clothes, jewellery and local art.
