The engagement party for Sotiris and Vasiliki Saturday September 5th 2015
The party was held at Dimitris Taverna & Grill House in Sfakaki just outside of Rethymnon. The large space to the back of the taverna was beautifully decorated and full of around 160 happy guests. A table with the presents and another with sweets was set up.
Live Cretan music playing while the guest was served with delicious traditional Pilafi rice and Vrasto (Cretan Rissoto and boiled lamb) Followed by roast lamb, salad, and small specialties. Lots of wine, beer, soft drinks, and water.
We sort of gatecrashed the party to take some pictures for Dimitris Taverna but was made very welcome by the young couple, parents and friends.
It was a lot of fun and we wish the young couple all the luck and a happy life together.
