The Akrotiri Peninsula
Akrotiri Peninsula is just off Chania on the north west coast of Crete and here you find Chania Airport and Souda port. Akrotiri has several sandy beaches and is a popular holiday area, Kalathas Beach is just one of them.
Although still in a natural setting with rural villages, great walks and lovely sandy beaches. Akrotiri is still undeveloped for the more sophisticated tourism and therefore has all its authenticity.
