Frangokastello is a quiet and unspoilt area set beside the sea on the fringe of a small plain of olive groves and herb scented scrub. You will find some of the best sandy beaches in Crete here, and especially little children love the shallow sea of the castle beach close by. Adults don’t have to look far for their own patch of heavenly secluded beach, there are many coves to choose from.

2 country houses in the village of Patsianos, 2 double and 2 single "bedrooms" (1½ beds), living room, kitchen and bathroom. A large terrace facing sea view and overlooking the Frangokastello plains. 

The houses are situated high over the small quiet mountain village of Patsianos, about 3 km inland from Frangokastello. The view from the houses is breathtaking.

These houses are about 300 years old and restored in the traditional Cretan way. The bedrooms are very small and the house is suitable for a family or a groups that can live "close" to each other. 

A car is essential as there are no shopping facilities in the village.
