The house has a large patio with wooden furniture and just a few steps below the patio and a stone built barbeque. There is a 40 sq metre swimming pool with steps. From the pool you can also enjoy the views to Souda Bay. The house stands in a very large plot of 18,000m2 with panoramic views in all directions.

This spacious air-conditioned house is very well equipped with air-con, 2 x 2 eye cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, sandwich maker, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a washing machine.

The ground floor holds the kitchen, dinning area and sitting area with a fireplace. The house is furnished traditionally with Cretan country side furniture and is very comfortable. The bedrooms are located in a traditional Mezzanin type closed gallery.

The area
The large village of Kalives, 3.5 kms away has many shops and is quite lively, bank facilities, hairdressers and a large number of tavernas are all within walking distance from the centre of Kalives, here are also sandy beaches and a river running into the sea.

Almirida´s sandy beach is only 7 kms from the house. Almirida is famous for its fish tavernas, there are cafe's, shops and supermarkets. All sorts of water sports, fishing, diving, surfing water-skiing is available here. The area is good for mountain biking and hiking.
