The villa stands in a 17000 sqm private plot of land in an
altitude of approximately 420m with lots of trees, oaks, olives
etc, therefore the villa offers secluded privacy for your
holiday.
Villa Limeri is made of carefully chosen Cretan stone and wood.
The position of the villa and the construction of the it is
inspired by the way of constructing the old monasteries of
Crete. This upscale villa has an ambience of a country cottage.
The furniture is a mix of original Cretan furniture and
specially made furniture to offer comfort and elegance to the
interior.

The Villa
The villa has four bedrooms, one in the ground floor which is
open. Two bedrooms have SAT TV, two bathrooms
one shower, and with bathtub and washing-machine, a very big
lounge with fireplace, a big flat screen TV and DVD player. One wall a of
windows and doors opening to a large veranda with breath taking
views to three big ravines and snow-white mountains.
The open plan kitchen is equipped with full size cooker,
dish-washer, fridge, micro-wave, eclectic kettle, coffee-maker
and other appliances. An elegant dinning table can accommodate
up to 8 persons.
The garden and pool
The garden surrounding the pool blends seamlessly in with the
county and mountainside with stone terraces and a small oval
private pool perfect relaxing and for a barbeque and a drink.
The Annex
The annex is a small building outside the
villa and consists of one large room with a bathroom with shower
and WC. There can sleep 5 or even more persons in the annex, it
is very suitable for older children.
Location
The villa is 1 km from the village of Valsamonero, where there
is a cafe, mini-market and a tavern, 10 min from Cretan Sea on
the north coast and half an hour from the Libyan sea on the
south coast.
The Historical town of Rethymnon is 15 Kms away and offers you
all the entertainment you can possibly need should the quiet of
the mountains become to much. Villa Limeri is close the castle
of Nikiforos Fokas, which is mentioned in all good tourist
guides. This historical place has also been the shelter of
rebels during wars.
Cleaning and change of sheets and towels twice a
week. Extra service is available and an additional cost.
