The Great Escape Villas
The villas are named after the sky elements; Sun, Moon and Star.
They are built on the cascading hillside overlooking a small gorge. They are located just below the traditional and historic village of Maroulas which is approximately 3.5 kilometres southeast of the town of Platanes with its long sandy beach and an abundance of shops, tavernas, bars, discos and supermarkets.

The villas
The villas are built on 3 levels. The main villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan sitting room and kitchen and a large balcony with sea facing views.
The kitchens are fully equipped, with full size cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, and fridge freezer. On first floor there is a bedroom and a bathroom with washing machine. On the second floor you find 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom.   

The apartments
Each villa has a separate apartment with one or two bedrooms, bathroom and open plan kitchen. Here there is an additional spacious living area with a small kitchen. The apartments have separate entrance and will be available to our clients with a large family or 2 families sharing. All the villas have private pools which are secluded from one another. The apartments are not rented separately.

Furniture and bedrooms
The furniture has been privately imported from USA and is of a very high standard and very comfortable, you will especially enjoy the queen size (152 cm. x 2m) beds with good quality mattresses.
Each villa has 2 double and 1 twin bedroom on the upper floor and one double and one twin bedroom on the ground floor.
The villas have cleaning and change of sheets twice a week (every 3 or 4 days).

Pool and surrounding area
The surrounding grounds are built with local stone, various plants and fruit trees are scattered throughout the landscape. There are covered and shaded barbeque areas next to the pools. Each villa having its own gas barbeque for easy holiday cooking. The villas are built on three levels, each level having unobstructed sea facing views. The pools of each villa are secluded and not overlooked from the other pool areas.

A few hundreds metres above the villas and within easy walking distance you will find the ancient village of Maroulas with one taverna and a cafe. A short drive will take you to the Venetian town of Rethymno and the seaside resorts along the costal road.
