Faestias Villas is a group of five independent rental villas for
holidays, that is located 1 kilometer from the largest sandy beach of southern
Crete. It is built at the foot of a quiet hill and the
view from there is breathtaking towards mountains, the sea and sunset. Each
villa has a private pool with a small child pool. Nearby there are the seaside
places Matala, Agia Galini and Lendas

The Faistias Villas
Each villa can accommodate 2 to 6 persons. It has two floors with
two bedrooms, a big bathroom with hydro massage, hamam, home - spa and hair
dryer. In the living room there are two
comfortable sofas, which can be transformed into beds.
There is air condition (refrigeration-heating), TV satellite, DVD player, hi-fi
system, fireplace, washing machine, microwave, electric iron and safe.

The area
Each villa is surrounded by a huge garden (800 m2), it also has a private
swimming pool with hydro massage, a small one for children, playground, barbeque
and private parking.
With in a short distance you will find cafeterias, snack bars with rich breakfast,
pizzerias, taverns-restaurants with traditional Greek cuisine, mini - markets, a taxi station and tourist shops.
There is a rich variety of activities available locally, to keep everyone happy.
These include the archaeological sites at Faistos, Agia Triada and Gortina. Many
varied day excursions including to the nearby fishing village of Lendas, the
monastery at Preveli and Palm Beach, and other mountain monestaries and villages
where you can sample the different cultures. Coach tours are available from
Zaros, with its beautiful lake, to Kamares and the summit of Mount Psiloritis.
Eating and drinking out in Kamilari caters for all tastes.
There are typical old kafeinions, tavernas with traditional Creten dishes,
cooked in wood fired ovens including some specialities from Grandmothers
Kitchen. In addition there is an Italian Pizzeria with a wood oven, and a snack
bar/ cafeteria.
Nearby there are the seaside places Matala, Agia Galini and Lendas. In a short
distance away there are traditional unspoilt villages where events and
traditional feasts with music and dancing are organized at the duration of
summertime.
The people are invariably friendly and will provide you with any information you
need, including taxis and car rental. Moires and Timbake are the nearest small
towns where doctors, pharmacies and banks are located, with markets on Friday
and Saturday respectively.
