Hello dear Amazing Crete
The vacation was wonderful. We have just returned home.
Niki, the car rental boy was available and good speed, the car was a new minivan Pegeout (without radio cd) but in excellent condition.
The villa MIXALIS only had the defect of the pool never cleaned during our week and the paint stuck to the bottom of the foot, certainly not healthy for very young children.
The Falasarna apartments are nice. KIKI the girl who runs it is very professional and friendly at the same time. They are strongly advised to those who love the tranquility and familiarity. The food is the best we’ve eaten all over Crete.
Havania are not as beautiful and quiet despite being more expensive.

‘First impressions count and the welcome we received at Villa Elena was wonderful, upon arrival we were told that a lunch was in the outside wood oven for us (Chicken and potato’s in Olive Oil, delicious). Supplies of Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Fig’s and even a pudding arrived at regular intervals during our two week stay via the owner.
The Villa is large and well equipped and very well maintained and made an excellent base for exploring the local area. The pool area is a delight and the covered outside eating area with BBQ and wood Oven is very good. Overall we cannot recommend Villa Elena highly enough.’

Hi Amazing Crete
We had a wonderful time in Crete as always. Eleni and Manolis looked after us very well. There were some problems with the floor and they had to get several tiles up and lay new ones while we were there – we were very impressed with the speedy way they fixed the problem – never let it be said that it takes the Cretans a long time to do something – they are brilliant!!! So until next time – thanks again and we will hopefully be in touch to book our next holiday soon.

It has been so good to meet you again, this was a real delight.
Here are some commentaries about the villa :
It was the best villa we have booked in Crete so far.
Very comfortable, the rooms were perfect and the bathrooms ideal.
The electric appliances in top conditions.
The pool just sublime !
The only thing we regretted was the lack of some coffee , tea bags and sugar.
As well as the lack of soap in the bathrooms.
This is not much, but when you arrive late at night, it can be nice to discover that you can make a tea or a coffee the following morning.
And to be able to wash your hands…
Isn’t the owner supposed to have a hotel ?
These are small things but would be very much appreciated..
Regarding the remote control of the gate, as we had 2 cars and not necessarily the same things to do at the same time, a second RC could be useful . We had to let the gate open sometimes …
Do not forget to tell that there is a card to be inserted in a slot in the entrance to have the electricity on !
Last thing, in general, Amazing Crete could tell the first coming holidayers that the mini or “super” markets are usually open everyday till 11 pm.
Well, all in all, we had our best stay in Crete so far.

Elounda Vista Villas, Maria and family, UK
Just to let you know – we returned from our holiday at Elounda Vista villas in Crete – what a beautiful setting – the villas, pool and grounds were gorgeous and well maintained and cleaned during the fortnight we were there.
A couple of things for future: webiste says that there is a dishwasher – we didn’t have one (didn’t really need one) and that WIFI was available. We had a network cable that worked fine, but Wifi indicates wireless connection.
Thank you for your help with the amendments we needed to make, and we’d recommend the villas in future.

Hi – some very positive feedback for you. Manoli and Manolia were just great.
We have just returned form a one week stay at Villa Distella in Prines, just outside Rthymnon in Crete. We traveled for our eldest daughter’s wedding in Rethymnon on October 12.
What a fantastic villa and what a fantastic location. The views are majestic, the accommodation is first class and the pool just rounds it all off superbly.
Iris and I were joined by four children (18-20) and Iris’s father (83) and we were easily accommodated in the four bedrooms. The living area and range of balconies were ideal for family activity and also great for a bit of “me time” for those who wanted to relax quietly.
The BBQ area was great for lunch time and dinner.
The villa owners Manoli and Manolia were extremely kind to us, sorting out our car problems. They were also very kind in providing local cheese dishes, extra lighting and Raki for a pre-wedding party at the villa.
A great place for a break.
We will be using Amazing Crete Travel again – next time we will get to see more of the island.’

Elounda View Villas, Sandy and Jean, Scotland
Dear Amazing Crete Team
We had one of the most relaxing holidays ever in the Elounda View Villas. We spent the mornings by the pool ( I was swimming 2 kilometers per day by the time we left!, and the afternoon was given to sightseeing – to Spina Long/ Knossos/ Aghios Nikoloaos, the back road from Neapolis to Elounda, windmills old and new all of it wonderful, and to be commended to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time, about a kilometer outside the village of Elounda.
We’ll be back!
