Dedalos hotel is situated on the golden sand beach of Stavromenos about 12 kms east of the Venetian town of Rethymnon. The area does not suffer from noise and is ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday. The nearest bars and discos are in Adele about 4 kms west and in the direction of Rethymnon.The hotel offers rooms for 1 - 5 persons, a large private pool, restaurant, private beach and a beach bar.The hotel has facilities for the handicapped .

The Hotel has a spacious lounge with large screen TV, an additional TV/reading room, a restaurant, and a bar on the beach which stays open until after midnight. The reception has a safe for your valuables. 

The large swimming pool with its separate children's pool is located behind the hotel facing the beach and having a sun terrace on a lower level, the beach bar also serves snacks during the day. Sun beds and umbrellas are available on the beach at a nominal charge.

Dedalos Hotel rooms
The hotel has 2 single bedrooms, 60 double bedrooms, 8 triple bedrooms and 3 family rooms (4 and 5 beds). All of them have a balcony or terrace and are situated in a way to have sea views and some with mountain views also.

Each room has a bathroom with bath tub and shower and are air-conditioned, facilities include satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, refrigerator, music system with 3 channels, and hairdryers. Safe deposits are available at a fee.

A buffet with "Enriched continental" breakfast  is served in the restaurant. During daytime you can order a choice of Greek and International dishes a la carte.

Dinner is also served as a buffet in the restaurant. 3 local and 1 international dishes are offered for the main course, as well as a variety of salads and desserts.

On the beach there is a volleyball sand court. Well equipped water sport centres can be found in the neighbouring villages (in both directions), and at Adelianos Campos there is the Atlantis diving centre.

The area of Stavromenos
Supermarket and a bus stop at 200 metres distance. Public bus service once per hour to Heraklion (71 kms) and Chania (68 kms) as well as to Rethymnon (12 kms, during the summer season every 30 minutes). The area  has a couple of good tavernas and cafes + 3 - 4 well stacked supermarkets. The city of Rethymnon 12 kms to the west has lots to offer for the whole family, shopping, dinning, cultural activities, music and fun for the kids on the beach promenade.

For hikers, the monastery of Arkadi with its museum and the Myli gorge are most interesting destinations and very close by.

The endangered turtles "careta careta" use parts of the hotel beach for their nests. Therefore you are kindly asked not to go onto the beach during night time from mid May to mid September so that they are not disturbed while laying their eggs or during hatching.
