Taverna
tou Zisi
Missiria - Rethymnon
One of the most, if
not the most famous traditional taverna in Crete. Here you get delicious
country food, appetizers and grilled meats. The taverna has been
the favourite of the Cretans in the area of Rethymnon for more
than 20 years. The taverna has a large and very good playground
for children.
Their prices are very reasonable and the food first
class.
You find Taverna tou Zisi by
driving out of Rethymnon town on the old road towards Platanes
and Adele. It is in Missiria (sign posted) on the right hand
side shortly after a big new church and just after a large plant
and flowershop. When you are coming from Platanes and Adele it
is on the left hand side.
